A clean, engineering-style estimator to compare weight, bending strength, and stiffness across poles. Built for quick, practical decisions (not marketing).

Add poles to compare
Tip: If you don’t know tube dimensions, use the defaults. The tool will still give a useful relative comparison.
Assumptions & what the numbers mean
This is a simplified tube model. It estimates:
- Bending capacity index ∝ (yield strength × section modulus)
- Stiffness index ∝ (elastic modulus × second moment of area)
- Efficiency = bending capacity index ÷ weight
Real-world outcomes also depend on joint design, grip/strap, lower reinforcement, impact angles, and damage history. Use this to compare architecture, not to claim absolute durability.

Weight vs Strength (scatter)
Lighter is left. Stronger is higher.
Note: Indices are relative. If you change inputs, re-run Compare.
